ALLAHABAD WEATHER

Allahabad is located at the meeting point of holy Ganges and Yamuna. The city is placed in the Gangetic plains. It lies near the Tropic of Cancer. Its nearness to the Tropic of Cancer has resulted in its sub-tropical climate. During summers, the temperature shoots up to 45 degree C marked by humidity. Nights are cooler and mercury reaches below the range of 30C.

Monsoons arrive in late June and stays for two months. It is marked by torrential rains and high humidity. Winters are pleasant and temperature reaches below 5 degree C.

The best time to visit the city is between Octobers to April.
