As the situation around Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are actively making the necessary changes to our protocols to ensure we provide safety and flexibility for our guests.
We wanted to reach out to you personally with information about what we are doing here at Classic Group of Hotels to support you, and your travel plans. To date, we have had no evidence of infection in our hotels proximity ; therefore, we are opening the hotel operation, with modified procedures.Our hotels have always placed the highest emphasis on the safety and wellbeing of our guests with exacting standards of cleanliness and hygiene. With the risks associated with COVID 19, and in keeping with World Health Organization and Ministry of Tourism guidelines, we have implemented a number of additional measures across all our hotels.

We also understand that not all of our guests would want to peruse through the complete list of procedures. For their convenience, we have tabulated the most important ones below.


  • All touch points in public areas like door handles, elevator buttons, counter tops, table tops, railings, etc. are cleaned continuously using a sanitiser/ disinfectant.
  • Masks and disposable gloves are being worn by all team members at all times and changed frequently. Housekeeping staff use fresh gloves for every room they service.
  • Electrostatic sprayers with professionally identified chemicals are being used to disinfect the hotel entrances, employee entrances, as well as various public areas.
  • For the safety of our guests, rooms will be sanitised after guests check out, kept vacant for 48 hours and then allocated
  • Restaurants and seating in the lobby have been reconfigured to ensure safe distances are maintained between guests.
  • Protocols are in place for all staff in the kitchens, restaurants, in-room dining, to sanitise their hands every time they serve food or touch food related items.

The health and safety of our guests and colleagues is – and always will be – our number one priority. As such, all Classic Hotel team colleagues have received specific training on COVID-19 protocols, particularly for teams with frequent guest contact including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Lifeguard Operations, Hotel Operations and Security.

  • Thermal Cameras
  • All hotels entry points will utilise thermal cameras to conduct temperature checks.
  • Social Distancing Our hotels will ensure all guests and colleagues are following physical distancing standards by standing at least 2 metres away from others throughout the property.
  • Air Filter And Hvac Cleaning
  • The frequency of air filter replacement and HVAC system cleaning has been increased and fresh air exchange is optimised.
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Hand sanitiser dispensers are placed throughout the hotels.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • PPE is worn by all colleagues based on regulations and guidance of the Indian Health Authority.
  • Disinfection Protocols
  • We use industry leading cleaning and sanitising products and protocols mandated by Indian authorities that have been approved for use against viruses, bacteria and other pathogens.

Experience our Contactless Service


  • ARRIVAL- Guest to receive a pre arrival communication for contactless check in. Thermal scanning at entry gate, wearing mask would be mandatory with Aarogya Setu App installed.
  • Contactless check-in- Offer Check –in & Check-out option through Mobile app. Guests luggage to be sanitized. Outside before arrival.
  • Guests Check-out - Contactless bill payment. E-invoice to be shared with guests.
  • Guest Rooms- For the safety of our guests, rooms will be sanitised after guests check out, kept vacant for 48 hours and then allocated .Deep cleaning /sanitization of room to be done after every departure, which includes mattresses, pillows, carpet, curtains & soft furnishings.
  • Fooding & In-room Dinning – Outside food is strictly not allowed inside the hotel premise. Ordering of food will be done by the mobile App, Clearance of food only through outside room.
  • To ensure all standards and protocols are adhered to, each hotel has a dedicated Hygiene and Safety Manager.
  • Our guests have been extremely appreciative of the measures we are taking for their safety. Equally our colleagues have welcomed these initiatives, with none of our team members testing positive for COVID-19.
