History of Bikaner
Bikaner’s history dates back to 1486 A.D. when Rao Jodhaji challenged his son to establish his own kingdom. Rao Bika chose the barren wilderness for his dwelling and the city soon became a thriving trade centre because of its location on the caravan route.
